Wind Turbines
“SRC-Vertical” designs and produces small Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (Wind Power Generators, VAWTs, Wind Power Units), up to 100 kW (kilo-Watts). This type of Wind Turbines named also “orthogonal”, is still not widely known and available due to different circumstances. However its indisputable advantages comparing with Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines (HAWTs), attract more and more designers, scientists and customers. That fact may change the odds in favours.
Big Wind Turbines can be produced under specific order with appropriate characteristics for different applications (grid tied, autonomous, combined, etc.).
0.1 kW Wind Power Unit, WPU-0.1

Micro Wind Turbine. Due to the size, it can be transported by any kind of transportation. It can be used for lighting, heating of small areas, etc. Assembling is easy handled by one person without lifting mechanisms and special knowledge. Two 12V batteries can be connected to the turbine and supply power during windless weather. The output 24 VDC. Inverter (110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz) is optional. Te Micro Wind Turbine can operate together with solar module and other power sources.

1.5 kW Wind Power Unit, WPU-1.5

Portable Wind Turbine. Due to the size, it can be transported on pack animal (camel, deer) and medium class automobile. It can be used for cooking, heating, etc. Assembling is easy handled by two men without lifting mechanisms and special knowledge, with the help of winch. Batteries can be connected to the turbine and supply power during windless weather. The output 48 VDC. Inverter (110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz) is optional.

Small Wind Turbine for house of far located object energy supply. Group of 3 educated workers with crane or special lifting/montage winch tooling can handle the assembling of this turbine. Peak power can be increased up to 6 kW using extra power from batteries, and appropriate inverter. Further increase of power up to 9 kW is possible using the extra diesel of gasoline generator. SRC-Vertical also produces the scaled 1.5 kW wind turbine of such design for on-house roof top application, where limitations of the height are critical. 5 kW scaled modification can be delivered by order.

30 kW Wind Power Unit, WPU-30

Prototype of this Wind Turbine is in the assembling stage. Two versions are available. One of the designs is similar to 3 kW wind turbine, the other Is shown on the picture (left). The Wind Turbine is good autonomous energy supply for house, office or small workshop. It can produce up to 90 kW in the peak mode (30 kW from WPU-30, 30 kW from battery module (30-40 minutes), and 30 kW from diesel generator).
