Wind geography

In any quiet regions where the average monthly and annual winds seem low, especially in the centr of continent, there are places where the wind is blowing constantly.

To get the accurate data abou the wind geography of specific region, it’s necessary to apply for a wind map at the nearest meteorology service or station. When the annual average wind speed is determined, the following numbers should be calculated on the base of instructions presented on our site:
-    power of Wind Turbine
-    number of batteries
-    parameters of electric equipment (particularly inverter)

If there is not enough power, or the wind is blowing from time to time, the diesel generator or similar equipment will be helpful.

It’s necessary to know that the wind speed is measured usually near the ground surface (normally 10 meters above the ground if anything else is not shown). I.e. the officially shown wind speed can be less than the actual one.

The wind speed is growing on 10% each 10 meters height. I.e. the higher the mast, the better wind conditions.
