Comparison

The main application of Electric Film Heater (EFH) is the primary or complementary heating of buildings and rooms.
The table below shows that the EFH seriously competes with any other heating including gas. The developers had got the great alternative in the selection of heating system.

The table shows that the expenses on the system installation on the base of Electric Film Heater are more than two times less expensive than on the gas and even on traditional electrical heating system. The season energy bills on EFH and gas heating are almost equal. Comparing with the traditional electrical heating they are seven times less. Thus the change of the traditional heating system on the Film will be paid back in 2.5 heating seasons.
Table doesn’t show that the operating time of the first two systems (gas and electrical) are essentially limited (10-15 years) and require periodical servicing with considerable expenses. The EFH will operate almost forever.

How many times you change the electric wiring at your home? Most likely never. The same is with the Electric Film Heater. There is no high temperature, no friction, nor mechanical parts. Once the EFH is installed, you cover it by construction décor and forget it.

COMPETITION ADVANTAGES:
- No other system can support the required temperature because of the inertness of heating and cooling of the heat carrier. The Film Heater doesn’t have this disadvantage. When the controller switches off the elements, they cool down to the room temperature in a few minutes;
- How much time will take to install the traditional heating system? Taking into account the outdoor works, it may take a half of a year. The installation of the 100 m2 of Electric Film Heater takes one week only;
- The system is fully automated and can be controlled distantly. It may run to economical duty and back to the comfortable mode in accordance with timer commands;
- When there is not enough power to supply the system (it consumes about 130 Watts per square meter in the peak mode), there is ready solution – intellectual relays and priority programming. Due to these solutions the power consumption may be reduces 4 times. As the system operates approximately 5-10 minutes per hour in normal mode, there is no need to switch on all rooms at one time.

The expenses on heating will be equal to the lighting expenses!
The information is based on the experience of many years operation.
